Sushi-san, a new Lettuce Entertain You restaurant by the people behind Ramen-san (R.J., Jerrod and Molly Melman; chef/partner Doug Psaltis), is aiming for a fall opening in River North.

Sushi master Kaze Chan, who has worked in numerous Chicago restaurants (including the late Kaze in Roscoe Village and, more recently, as opening sushi chef at Momotaro; his brother, Macku, owns Macku Sushi), will head the operation, which is opening in the former La Madia space at 59 W. Grand Ave.
