  • Hampton Inn and Suites, Chicago - This 230-room hotel is located at the corner of Dearborn and Illinois in Chicago's River North neighborhood. The hotel is anchored by an upscale Italian restaurant on the first level and features numerous meeting rooms, an indoor pool and exercise facility.
  • Springhill Suites O'Hare - Minutes from Chicago's O'Hare International airport, the Springhill Suites O'Hare at 8101 West Higgins Road features 242 suites that cater to the business traveler during the week and families over the weekend.
  • The Goodman Theatre Center of Chicago - Located at the corner of Randolph and Dearborn, the Goodman Theatre Center has played a major role in the ongoing revitalization of Chicago's downtown Theater District.  The building consists of restaurants and flexible office space and connects directly to the new Goodman Theatre.
  • Reid-Murdoch Center, Chicago - This historic rehabilitation of almost 360,000 square feet is the gateway to Chicago's sought-after River North neighborhood and includes office space, retail and a major restaurant at the river's edge.
  • Medinah Temple/Tree Studios, Chicago - Bounded by Ontario, State, Ohio & Wabash Streets, the restoration of Medinah Temple/Tree Studios saved an entire historic City block.  Named by the World Monuments Fund as two of the top hundred most significant structures around the globe, the block is home to the nation's first Bloomingdale's Home Center located in the original Medinah Temple Auditorium.  The next door Tree Studios, which continues to house the nation's oldest, continuously operated artists' community, has been rehabilitated to include 24,000 square feet of retail and 16,700 square feet of loft offices dedicated to the creative arts.  The complex also includes the Tree Studios Annexes and Medinah Court, home to an additional 14,300 and 30,000 square feet respectively.
  • Courtyard by Marriott Magnificent Mile - Located at Ontario & St. Clair just off Michigan Avenue, the Marriott Magnificent Mile includes an upscale restaurant, parking garage and 306-room hotel.
  • 181 North Clark, Chicago - 181 N. Clark is a 282,000 square foot, eight-story building with 28,500 square feet of retail space on the first and mezzanine levels and a 265,000 square foot parking garage containing 643 spaces.
  • 711 West Jackson - This property is a redevelopment of 50,000 square feet into a 20,000 square foot Staple's Office Supply store with parking.
  • Springhill Suites/Residence Inn River North - Scheduled to open in the Spring of 2008, two Marriott suites hotels are being developed in conjunction with White Lodging Services on Dearborn Street between Hubbard and Kinzie.  The project consists of 14,500 square feet of retail space, a Marriott Springhill Suites consisting of 253 rooms and a 270 room Marriott Residence Inn.  The building will include a roof top enclosed pool along with an 11,000 square foot penthouse private suite.
  •  353 North Clark, Chicago - A joint venture development with Mesirow Stein Real Estate, this new Class A office tower will consist of more than 1 million square feet of office, retail and storage space, and a 220 stall in-building parking garage. Located in the River North submarket between Clark & Dearborn on the south side of Kinzie Street, the tower will be the new headquarters of Mesirow Financial and will be co-anchored by the law firm of Jenner & Block LLP.

In addition to these projects, Lopatin has consulted on many other high profile developments including the cutting-edge James Hotel located off Michigan Avenue on Ontario Street in Chicago.
